Right to object to automated individual decision-making

You have the right not to be the subject of a decision based solely on the automated processing of your data (without a person intervening) when it may legally or significantly affect you.

This right includes automated decisions based on profiling. However, you will not be able to exercise this right when:

  • The processing is necessary to formalise or execute a contract between you and a data controller entity.
  • You have given explicit consent.
  • It has been authorised by EU law or a law of the relevant member state.
