The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) promotes the design and production of informative podcasts to raise awareness among the public about data protection, clarify concepts and more technical aspects of the regulations, and highlight the importance of safeguarding personal data. These podcasts are aimed at the general public, as well as entities or organizations that process personal data, depending on the specific case, and are often produced with the support of other organizations, such as the Catalan Association of Municipalities (ACM) and the School of Public Administration of Catalonia.
APDCAT and the School of Public Administration of Catalonia (EAPC) have initiated the creation of new educational materials to bring data protection concepts closer to public sector personnel. Specifically, they have launched a series of podcasts on data protection to clarify concepts in the field.
