The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) is participating in the meeting ‘Consent in 21st Century Democracies’, organised by the European School of Humanities on 18 and 19 March at the Palau Macaya.

Specifically, the director of the APDCAT, Meritxell Borràs i Solé, will participate on 18 March at 6.45pm in the panel discussion ‘Consent, data and technology: citizenship in the algorithmic era’, which will address aspects such as personal data and its legal protection, digital consent and the economy of personal data, algorithms, artificial intelligence and information manipulation, and the role of platforms in the formation of political consent. The activist and founder of Xnet, Simona Levi, will also participate.
