The Data Protection Officer and Head of Strategic Projects at the APDCAT, Joana Marí Cardona, will take part in the 12th International Congress on Privacy and Artificial Intelligence, to be held in Madrid on 7 and 8 May.
Marí will participate on 8 May in the roundtable discussion “Data Protection and AI in Public Administrations”, alongside the President of the Basque Data Protection Authority, Unai Aberasturi; the Director of the Andalusian Council for Transparency and Data Protection, Jesús Jiménez López; and the Director of Data Supervision and Control at the General Council of the Judiciary, Paloma Santiago. The session will be moderated by the President of the Spanish Professional Association for Privacy and Artificial Intelligence (APEP-IA), Miguel Recio.
This congress is a leading event for data protection and privacy professionals in Spain, who will address the main challenges posed by AI in this field.
