The APDCAT participates in the 35th Seminar on Legal Studies and Practice

The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) will participate in the conference “Artificial Intelligence from a Legal Perspective”, which will take place on 3 July 2026 in the assembly hall of the School of Public Administration of Catalonia (EAPC). The event is part of the 35th Seminar on Legal Studies and Practice, organised by the Legal Office of the Government of Catalonia and the EAPC.

Xavier Urios Aparisi, Head of the Legal Advisory Office of the APDCAT, will take part in the round table, where he will present “The Legal Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection in the Functioning of Public Administrations.”

The conference aims to present and analyse the latest developments regarding the legislation and case law applicable in Catalonia in the field of artificial intelligence. It is the second session of the seminar, which began on 6 March 2026 and will continue on 2 October and 27 November.
