Meritxell Borràs i Solé takes part in the 'ACCO conference: Competition and the Protection of Personal Data in the Digital Economy'

This issue will be discussed at the upcoming ACCO conference, 'Competition and the Protection of Personal Data in the Digital Economy', which will take place on February 18 at the Palau Robert in Barcelona.

The event, organized by the Catalan Competition Authority (ACCO), will feature the participation of the director of the APDCAT, Meritxell Borràs Solé, who will deliver the institutional closing remarks.

The conference will be opened by Roger Loppacher, president of the ACCO, followed by a presentation by Alba Ribera Martínez, professor at Universidad Villanueva, who will present the Study on Competition and the Protection of Personal Data in the Digital Sphere.

This will be followed by a roundtable discussion with Fernando Díez Estella, professor at Universidad Nebrija; Xavier Vives, Professor of Economics at IESE Business School; and Francisco Pérez Bes, Deputy to the Presidency of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). The debate will be moderated by Susanna Grau, Director General of the ACCO.
