Access the opinions of the Legal Advisory Commission and other consultative bodies in relation to the Catalan Data Protection Authority, as well as the opinions and resolutions issued by the APDCAT.
The Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) issues reports or opinions expressing a position on a specific matter in response to requests for information or consultations submitted.
Additionally, it issues resolutions in response to claims for the protection of rights submitted by affected individuals. It also issues sanctioning resolutions when a breach of the regulations is identified. It also grants authorisations when it is not necessary to inform data subjects about the collection of personal data or for the complete maintenance of certain data.
In compliance with the regulations, the APDCAT anonymises published resolutions and modifies or deletes certain references in opinions and reports in order to preserve the identity of the persons or entities making the enquiries.
