The APDCAT commemorates 10 years of the General Data Protection Regulation

The event, which will be held from 9 am to 2 pm, is set up as a day of analysis and reflection, around three round tables, with experts who will enrich the debate, and a presentation by Professor Ignasi Beltran de Heredia Ruiz on technological inertia and the final frontier of privacy.

It will serve to take a first look back, to highlight what this standard has contributed and how it has been integrated into organizations. Also, to take a look at the present and the future and analyze how innovation and technology place the right to data protection at the center of the defense of all rights and freedoms.

elcome will be given by the deputy first secretary of the Bureau of the Parliament of Catalonia, Glòria Freixa i Vilardell. Finally, the director of the APDCAT, Meritxell Borràs i Solé, will close the event around 1:15 pm.
