The APDCAT participates in the 5th Conference of Data Protection Officers of Spanish Universities

The APDCAT will participate in the 5th Conference of Data Protection Officers of Spanish Universities, which will take place in Barcelona from 20 to 22 May 2026. This edition is organized by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

The event will feature the participation of various experts, who will address challenges related to privacy and data protection, such as artificial intelligence, transparency in data protection, and the requirements and obligations of the European Health Data Space.

The Director of the APDCAT, Meritxell Borràs i Solé, will take part in the opening session on 21st May.

The Head of the Legal Advisory Office, Xavier Urios Aparisi, and the Agency’s Head of Strategic Projects, Joana Marí Cardona, will participate in the first panel discussion, which will focus on data protection and artificial intelligence.
