The process to apply for APDCAT training scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year is now open

Until June 9, it is possible to submit an application to compete for one of the two 10-month scholarships offered by the Catalan Data Protection Authority for this course, which aim to encourage, promote and disseminate knowledge of the right to data protection, emerging technologies, and theoretical and practical training in the Authority's doctrine.

The Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC) publishes the announcement of the opening of the call period to apply for one of the two training scholarships of the Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) for the 2026-2027 academic year. The two scholarships are aimed at legal and technological profiles, and will allow you to delve deeper into the doctrine of the Authority, emerging technologies and their impact on data protection and on society. To apply, a degree in law or computer engineering or equivalent qualifications in the four years prior to the date of publication of the call is required. A level of proficiency in Catalan (level C1 or equivalent) and knowledge of English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​is also required.

The scholarships will begin on October 1, with a dedication of 30 hours per week, and will last 10 months. The financial allocation for both is 23,000 euros. The application for participation can be sent to the via the electronic office, and using the form designed for this purpose.

This is the third edition of this initiative promoted by the APDCAT, with the aim of promoting the interest of present and future professionals in issues related to privacy and data protection.
